Hello!

My name is Marta, I live in Sabadell (Barcelona), and I am the person behind these photographs.

I love insects since I was a child. It’s a tiny world surrounding us that keeps unnoticed for most people. This passion drove me to get a close-up view of them, and macrophotography has allowed me to get into this universe.

I love taking pictures of alive insects in their natural environment, with no interference. At dawn or in the evening, that’s when insects are fresh and sleepy, and I can carefully move closer to them to shoot the moment.

I would like to encourage the life of this almost unnoticed parallel world, to share their presence from an artistic point of view, and to show their colors, details, textures…all in all, breathtakingly unique living creatures.
